More than 70 of us serve in the Goodwill Community Center in the Fox Cities in areas such as accounting and finance, human resources (although we call that our “People Team”), retail leadership, marketing and public relations, and information technology. Nearly 80 of us serve from our
Shiner Warehouse and Logistics Center in Appleton in warehousing, logistics, materials handling, wiper production, contract projects, maintenance, More than 700 of us serve in our store communities (we have 19 stores in 16 Wisconsin communities) as retail team leaders, sales associates, donation attendants and program coordinators. Another 350 of us deliver services directly to those in need in homes, stores and offices -- even a coffee house -- through our 20 Goodwill NCW programs: therapists, job coaches, financial counselors, baristas, etc. The bottom line? We’re an amazingly diverse team of professionals who work together to improve the lives of the individuals we serve, and ultimately, the communities we are a part of. Surprised? Most people are. In fact, the most common response we hear when people begin to learn what Goodwill NCW is and does is “I had no idea . . .!” |
