Ashwaubenon Programs and Services

The Ashwaubenon Goodwill Retail Store and Training Center has collaborated with N.E.W. Curative Rehabilitation, Inc. to create a program that gives an enclave of N.E.W. Curative Rehabilitation, Inc. workers the opportunity for paid work experience in a competitive retail work environment.  The program assesses participants’ current skill levels and provides the opportunity to obtain new skills and behaviors, which may allow them to work competitively within the community.  This work experience is a valuable tool for identifying individual vocational assets and limitations and will help to ensure meaningful future training and appropriate placement within the community.

In addition to this program, Goodwill also provides services to the following agencies and community partners through the Ashwaubenon Retail Store and Training Center:

  • State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections Community Corrections Employment Program (CCEP)
  • Probation and Parole Community Service Program
  • Brown County Department of Human Services in the Goodwill Work Services Training Program
  • Brown County Court-Ordered Community Service Program
  • Brown County Juvenile Restitution Program
  • Experience Works – Older Worker Program
  • Ashwaubenon Municipal Court Juvenile Restitution Program
  • Area high schools with the Community Service Graduation Requirement Program
