The Goodwill Community Center |
|
|
The Goodwill Community Center is the culmination of a $2.4 million capital campaign started in 1993. Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin formed partnerships with several other organizations dedicated to helping people in the community lead better lives. Today, the award-winning concept is the center of a "one-stop shop" environment for human services where people can receive medical care, a variety of employment and training services, information and referral, placement services, as well as the opportunity to donate and shop at Goodwill itself. Locating several human service agencies in
the building in a campus environment was designed to reduce administrative
costs and increase services. Campus partners share resources such as a
receptionist, office machines, meeting rooms and maintenance services. |
