GoodMoneysm Ribbon Cutting
On June 15, 2005, GoodMoney, a unique
not-for-profit collaboration with
Prospera Credit
Union opened as a new alternative to existing check cashing and
payday lending services. GoodMoney will offer short-term
loans at reduced fees; check cashing services; wire transfers, money
orders, bill payment and other convenience services; and access to
information about FISC-CCCS, the Financial Information and Service Center.
FISC is a not-for-profit program of Goodwill NCW that provides practical
financial advice for real people, including money management workshops,
counseling and debt management plans.
