Five days until remodeling: Menasha store offers 75% off everything
Menasha — In preparation for remodeling, all remaining merchandise will be sold at 75 percent off ticketed prices at Goodwill NCW’s Menasha Store and Training Center, from April 12-16.
On April 17, the Menasha store will be closed for 90 days for remodeling, as the organization takes advantage of road construction on Appleton Road that will impede access to the facility. Goodwill NCW (North Central Wisconsin) anticipates a “Grand Re-Opening” of the store in mid-July.
The 75 percent discount applies to all donated and new merchandise at the Menasha store only, and will be applied at checkout. No other discounts will be applied to purchases.
The 50-percent sale of April 6-11 provided great deals for hundreds of shoppers, but merchandise — clothes, shoes, toys, furniture, books, housewares and more — remains to be sold.
Goodwill uses revenue from the sale of its merchandise to support its human services mission across 35 counties in Wisconsin. A full list of programs is online at: www.goodwillncw.org/programs/
The road construction, which will close or significantly decrease traffic on Appleton Road between Midway Road and Valley Road over the next three months, begins Monday, April 13. The construction’s primary purpose is to add roundabouts on either side of the State 441/Appleton Road interchange.
Until the store closes temporarily on Friday, it will be accessible from Valley Road.
During the 90-day closure of the Menasha store, the Goodwill Community Center — behind the store — will remain open, accessible from Valley Road. Donation bins will be placed on site during the store closure.
Goodwill’s other Fox Cities locations — Darboy, Grand Chute, Neenah and the Outlet Store in Appleton — will remain open for shopping and donating during the 90-day closure of the Menasha store.
All eight Donation Express locations in the greater Fox Valley will be open to accept donations of used clothing, appliances, furniture and housewares. The organization also has more than 40 donation bins throughout the Fox Cities and surrounding communities.
