Fashionista: Binge-worthy winter thrift apparel
If you look up the definition of binge, it’s about indulging in an activity in excess. Well, let’s binge in warm and cozy winter thrift apparel.
Show of hands. When the snap of arctic air hits, who wants to stay in rather than go out? Yup, me too.
And let’s face it. The holidays are over and so is the baking, entertaining, wrapping, planning. Whew, I’m just tired writing it. Now’s the time to slow down and relax.
What better way than to wear something you are most comfortable in. Now is the time to shop Goodwill and look for pieces that are stay-at-home worthy or, like I say, binge-worthy wear.
Look for fuzzy warm sweaters, leggings, shawls, mittens, scarves. Goodwill is stocked up because they know we live in the frozen tundra.
Here’s a look at what I picked up this week at my local GW:
- Gap sweatshirt dress, $4.50 (half off because of color tag of the week)
- The absolute softest shawl, $3.99
The slippers with a boa trip are from my closet, but you also can find cozy socks at Goodwill if you need a pair.
So there you go. Go ahead now and “indulge” in savings at your local Goodwill store, where it warms your heart to shop and help others in our community.❤️
