Shelley the Goodwill thrifter shops secondhand for puppy
Our sweet new puppy, Hazel, turned into a member of the family as soon as she was brought home six months ago. Being the thrifter I am, I found a great deal, put her in a box, ran the doorbell and everyone was crying when they saw her on the doorstep.
As you can imagine, not only did I shop around for a deal on our dog but also on supplies, as they can get pretty pricey.
I have found so many puppy items at Goodwill to make her feel more comfortable and feel at home. First, I found a medium-size pet crate for $12.99. These run about $40 online so that’s a huge savings. Of course, my two girls decorated it with a soft blanket.
We’ve also found new toys, miscellaneous dog outfits and jackets, bowls and cute vintage containers for holding treats. Goodwill is a great place to get fun finds for a new member of the family.
