What is Restorative Justice?

Marathon County Restorative Justice uses a service delivery model of victim offender conferencing. Victims of crime are central to the process and are given a voice.

The anticipated outcomes include:

  • Increasing offender accountability and diverting youth from further juvenile justice involvement.
  • Increasing resources to the youth and their families to reduce risk and build protective factors.
  • Providing important assistance and restitution to crime victims.

Mon. – Fri.: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Services are offered in a classroom, group and/or individual setting. Frequency of services provided is determined by the referral request, the program referred to, and the readiness of participants to complete programming.
