Schonfeld joins Goodwill NCW board

walter-schonfeld-photo-161012-2Walter Schonfeld, president of Deluxe-Technicolor Digital Cinema, has joined the Goodwill NCW board of directors.

As the leader of the world’s largest theatrical distribution provider, Schonfeld serves the needs of content owners, theaters and exhibitors in more than 100 countries on six continents.

Schonfeld, who specializes in business transformation and turnarounds, previously served as president and CEO of SDI Media; president of the Technical Papers Division of Appvion, formerly Appleton Papers; president of the Entertainment Services Division at Technicolor; and senior vice president of International Business Development at MCI Telecommunications.

He also is a veteran, having served as an Air Force officer during Operation Desert Storm.

Schonfeld becomes the 12th member of Goodwill NCW’s board of directors.

Based in Menasha, Goodwill Industries of North Central Wisconsin is a not-for-profit human services organization that in 2015, through revenue generated by the sale of donated clothing and household goods, helped improve the lives of 63,701 people across 35 counties in north central Wisconsin, through 30 programs and services.

Goodwill NCW includes 27 retail stores and training centers. It offers seven Donation Express sites and 45 convenient donation bins located throughout the Fox Cities and surrounding communities.
