Bankruptcy Pre-Discharge Education
If you have explored other options and have decide to proceed with filing for bankruptcy, one you have filed through the Bankruptcy court, you are required to complete a Pre-Discharge Education Class.
After you have filed for bankruptcy, you will receive a bankruptcy case number from your attorney and you must complete an approved financial course. You have the choice of attending an in-person workshop at our Menasha office or completing an online course. You will need your bankruptcy case number to sign-up for or complete the online course.
You must spend a minimum of two hours on the education course to receive a Certificate of Completion. We have an obligation to promptly give you a Certificate of Completion, only after you complete the workshop, within one business day of the completion of the course. Certificates will not be issued if this time requirement is not met.
